Teaching of Statistics in the Health Sciences

The American Statistical Association's (ASA) section of theTeaching of Statistics in Health Sciences (TSHS) is an active community of researchers and innovators, leaders in the dissemination of modern resources for the practice and teaching of statistics in health sciences, and professionals providing support and mentorship to new teachers of statistics in the health sciences. The TSHS Section has a Resources Portal with curated data sets for use in teaching statistics. Each of the data sets has a brief description with a more detailed abstract, information on the contributor, a summary of the objectives, background information, a data dictionary, and versions of the data set in R, SAS, Stata, SPSS, Minitab, and Excel. Additional resources for instructors can also be requested through the website
